Is there any chance to use internal LCD but using video card from the docking station? :)

You might want to look here and ask a question if you need to. The people who dabble with the eGPU setups strike me as being very well informed and might be able to provide you with certain answers.

But he's not looking to use an external LCD. :?

The dock allows the use of a desktop card, which has its own output connectors for a monitor. There's no loopback to the internal LCD in a laptop, although, like yourself, I dreamt of that when I first heard of the Advanced Dock. I imagine such a thing could be possible though, but not here. A laptop GPU can drive both internal and external monitors, but not one in the dock. At best, some laptops have limited GPU upgradability by using the MXM or Axiom interfaces (A laptop GPU version of mini-PCI), but only one W series TP had it, and it wasn't compatible with all such cards.

Looks like there's enough clearance for the battery to fit.

Thanks for info!
Too bad that video card will not work with internal LCD - it's too expensive for me to buy dock, graphic card and monitor (it will take too many space in my room also). :(

Another (probably last) question: now i have T61 with NVS 140M graphic, is there any motherboard from T61p (with FX 570m) which will fit into T61 14.1" casing? Were there differences in the heat sink? Will it work with standard 1200x800px LCD?

Sorry for my language mistakes. ;)

Why do you want to replace the motherboard in the first place?
nVidia GPUs have a really bad reputation in the T61 series.
There is no T61p version with FX 570m graphics for a 14.1" widescreen model.
If your GPU is not working properly, you should rather replace it with a motherboard with integrated Intel graphics.
All your current parts (incl. the fan) will work with that.
Download the HMM: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail. ... MIGR-67760
All the parts are in there, as well as illustrated instructions how to replace them.

To get best possible graphic card - it would be nice to play some newer games too.
My GPU works very well, but i just want little bit more of power. ;)

So, the next question: motherboard from 15" model will fit in 14.1" casing?
Sorry for maybe stupid questions, but I just want to get some information to "pimp my TP". :D

No...15.4" board will not fit 14"1 chassis.
Looks to me like you need to be looking at a more powerful gaming laptop. Might be cheaper, and certainly easier, than trying to upgrade/modify a T61 to do something it was not built for.

I am really satisfied with my T61 and it's great for my requirements. I don't really need this, but it just would be nice to have some more power. :)

Also - it is not cool to buy new laptop for gaming, but it is fun to kick [censored] with old business laptop. :P

Remember that there is something called being maniac. :)
