CPU temp + USB Mouse

#1 Post by vovan » Thu Apr 28, 2005 12:57 am

Hi,

I have R51 and find strange occurrence:

With slow performance (600Mhz) from battery - CPU temp is about 37C.
But when I have attached my USB mouse (microsoft) CPU temp going up to 50C.

Power consumption going up form 11.79 to 14.09.

Have you any ideas why temp going up?

What is the exact model of your mouse? And is this the ONLY thing that you are changing to cause such a shift in power consumption? Check if there are some conflicting drivers, such as the Trackpoint and IntelliPoint or something, one of them might be freaking out....
