Do you have any idea with this laptop backpack? I'm looking for extra laptop backpack for my 15" T42p. I ordered a Mountainsmith I.T.Z which is supposed to be a cool durable backpack. Today I received it shipped from ebags.com and I'm disappointed by that there is even no padded separate compartment for laptop, thinking I have made a mistake since it must be a school pack. The material used to build this backpack looks thin and weak. I have to return it, look for another one. I'm not sure this Timberland one can satisfy me or not. Did anybody use this one or can give me some smart advice?

Maybe you should have a look at Jack Wolfskin.
The backpacks have a pretty good quality, a nice design and there is enough space for a notebook, some books and a folder.

I have the Brain Storm and I think it's quite good for the everyday-use in school / university.

But I don't know if the 15" model fits into it, I have a 14" thinkpad.

My friend has this backpack for her R50P and it fit her thinkpad very well like it's designed for.

I use a Swissgear #GA-7305-14 by Wenger (WengerNA.com). The particular backpack that I have is not on this site however. This is my primary carry-on (planes/trains) and it has plenty of storage for all my immediate needs. What I particularly like is that the storage section for the laptop is toward the center and not right up against my back. It is well protected and easily accomodates my 15" 42t.

I should have mentioned that I purchased the GA-7305-14 at BEST BUY. You can go to their website and see the particular backpack I was talking about.

I don't know the exact spec's of any of the packs you guys have mentioned. but, I do quite enjoy my snowboarding backpack as use for my laptop bag...you just need to buy a sleeve and you are set. one thing I really like about it is that it's water proof so on those rainy days I don't have to worry about any leakage getting to my laptop...and it has a nice spot for my digi cam...

Thanks you guys. I have had a Targus OEM IBM Thinkpad Carrying Case 73P3599 and love it. I'm just looking for a extra fashionable and cool-shape backpack, don't want to have another targus bag. the Brain Storm bag which MaestroNo1 recommends really catch my need. But I don't think I can find it in US. Anyway thanks a lot.
