Linking online passwords to fingerprint reader?

#1 Post by tenpointnine » Fri Nov 16, 2012 8:03 pm

2 Questions:

A)Is it possible to link my online passwords to my T61 fingerprint reader?

B)If so, how secure is this?

Many thanks

Walter

Lenovo's Fingerprint Software does that for Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Regarding the second part of my question, any comments on how secure it might be?

Oops, I meant Lenovo's Password Manager. It comes with IE and Firefox plugins, and work pretty much like other tools that saves passwords except requiring fingerprint authentication.
