Delivery options

Need some advice. Just "chatted" w Lenovo. Want to order a Thinkpad from them. They require a signature. My wife and I both work. They deliver via UPS.
Talked to our local UPS who said that if delivery is unsuccessful, the product is delivered to their Central UPS office here in Orlando. That is a pain to get to. Nothing is close here. Local UPS said that they "receive" products for a $ 5 fee which is no problem. Chatted again w Lenovo who said they won't deliver directly to a UPS facility. Has to be a home or business (ahh, isn't UPS a business address??) anyway, has anyone here ran into this issue??
I don't know (nor do I trust) the people where I work NOT to walk off w a nice Thinkpad!!! Newish to the street, so we don't know the people around us yet. Heck, I haven't even seen anyone and it's a pretty busy street!!!
Is there a way to "pre-sign" or just waive the signature??
Thoughts??
Thx.
Frank

You might just have to go to Orlando...

I had UPS hold the machine for me in their "main" facility 45 miles away and picked it up there on a Saturday. Had to go through this twice last year.

Good luck.

a wild unconventional thought...

My local Fed Ex/Kinkos advertises that they want to be my office away from home, i.e. fax services, office supplies, receiving and shipping, etc.

Maybe this thought will trigger another thought from someone else???
