Can anyone of you good folks can point me to Thinkpads with an hdmi output please.
I'm still using my T60P which works like a champ but I would like to get rid of directv and I've been told that I'll need a laptop with Hdmi Output.
Thanks in advance.

Who told you that and what was their reasoning? You could pick up the dock for the T60 and that will get you a DVI conntector, which is easily converted to HDMI with a cable, though you'll get no sound.
None of your classic ThinkPads will have HDMI, but newer models will get you a displayport, which is also easily converted to HDMI with a cable. Some of the first ThinkPads to offer a displayport like the X200, T400, R500, etc., do not do sound, but that was later fixed. Newer models should have no trouble with it.

Thanks for the reply,
So if i buy a newer model Thinkpad with the Displayport can I just use a
single converter cable that will carry the full HD and Sound quality to the TV just like HDMI does?
Thanks in advance for your time.

I've looked at the SL series and somehow they didn't look like a real Thinkpad would.
Then again that's what I said for my T60P after using my T42P for a loong time, and the darn thing still works like a champ.

Well, the SL series certainly are not even similar to real ThinkPads, but that's where the HDMI ports are, so...
