How long does it take IBM to ship a replacment drive???

anyone know, how many days does it take for IBM to ship a replacement hard drive to customer??? 3, 6, 7days or longer?

In my case, I called Tech Sup, on Monday, and have not seen the drive yet .... BTW, between these two T42, which on is better: 2373-9XU and 2379-DXU. Expert advice please??? My policy is generally - if you're not going for the UXGA option, go with the 14" - it's got big advantages in size, weight, and battery life.
