I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, but if I'm wrong, a mod can move this. I emailed IBM about my order status and this is what I got:

Hi ..

Once the cheque clears, we would then arrange it to be processed for shipment. At the moment our plant in China is going on leave.
Please give us more time. We are expecting a delay of 1-2 weeks.

Meanwhile please advice me your cheque number, and bank and date., this would really help in our work to trace your cheque faster.

Thanking You with Best Regards

Does this mean that my R52 will be produced at a new plant? Or it will show Lenovo at the front? I'm really worried...

My biggest fear was to start seeing stuff like this..not exactly the best English, is it. Guess it means exactly what is says...they will take awhile...and they won't start until your check clears...which in the world of international banking may take a couple of weeks, easy. But if you're used to paying by check you're used to that, right? No different that the way any other company does check's, right? I'm sorry to hear about the delays, but thanks for posting. Was this a custom build? Was this ordered off the web site? I'm sure you will get it eventually!!
