Help me find a new laptop

Hi guys,
I am a long time thinkpad user. However most recent thinkpad changes have made them less and less attractive. So I am open to suggestions for both thinkpad and non-thinkpad laptops.
Here is my requirements:
- ~$600-650 max in price
- has to have a trackpoint
- IPS screen
- modern CPU
- can be refurbished as long as it's good quality (ie lenovo outlet)
What I can't stand:
- flimsy glued parts
- wobble in the screen
- painted plastic that wears off
What I am okay with:
- new lenovo keyboard doesn't bother me that much as long as there is no flex
- im open to HP and Dell laptops as long as there is a trackpoint that works just like lenovo trackpoint
My previous thinkpad was a T60. It was build like a brick but the screen was just terrible. IPS is a must have, I can't stand anything less.
So far I have seen Thinkpad Twist at local staples. The built quality is okay, the keyboard has no flex, there is an IPS screen and I could get it at lenovo outlet for $560 but the screen wobbles like there is no tomorrow.
Now I have also seen in lenovo outlet T420 with regular LED screen, it has an old fashioned keyboard but again no IPS is a major drawback for me. I had a T60p and I was frankly never satisfied with it because of the poor TN screen. I don't want to repeat the same mistake. Although having solid old fashioned keyboard is tempting....
I also watch this video on X230 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7HrBqtUtvUI
What I am going to use this for:
- watching movies (im not really doing much work on a computer anymore, everything is paper based)*
- browsing the net
- emails
- occasional powerpoint presentations at work
*I especially like watching HD movies on Netflix and my computer needs to play them smoothly
