#1 Post by loyukfai » Wed May 22, 2013 12:05 pm

Anybody tried this...? Same keyboard used in the latest "heretic" ThinkPad models...? : )

Cheers.

I plan to buy the USB version when it comes to Germany.

I hope it's more robust than the current ThinkPad USB Keyboard with TrackPoint. The latter is not reinforced very well and flexes quite easily.

I haven't tried the keyboards on any of the new ThinkPads yet. If I like it and lenovo releases something like X230 but with 12.5" or 13" FHD IPS panel soon then they can look forward to getting more of my monniez.

Ah, didn't aware that there's a Bluetooth version (http://blog.lenovo.com/products/lose-th ... h-keyboard) when I started the thread.

I'll see if it's available in the annual sale for university alumni here.

Cheers.

They must be afraid of potential customers seeing the ridiculous layout and missing keys, since they don't have a bigger picture online...

On the other hand: if you're stuck with that handicapped keyboard layout you might just as well use it all the time. After all, for some it's better to not have the superiour layout ever compared to frustration every time you realize you are missing out with the built-in ThinkPad *30 keyboard.

It's even more ridiculous than EU-qwerty with it's half-size left shift.
