Best light for a laptop

#1 Post by jhansman » Sat May 07, 2005 6:19 pm

I need one of those lights I can attach to my Thinkpad so I can use it in darkened surrounding and see the K/B. Who can recommend a *good* USB powered one that won't wash out the screen but lets you see the keys? TIA!

How about the Thinklight (press Fn + PgUp) that comes standard on your Thinkpad? I understand if you have a problem with the glare, but for quick typing in the dark it comes in handy.

I bought a Belkin one (http://tinyurl.com/de2ns) a few years ago for my R32, but don't bother now that my X has a Thinklight.

The Belkin did work well, however.

Have you looked at the Kensington Flylight?
