ssd drive on mini pci

hi,
has anyone tried putting ssd mini pci card in?
X61 (T9300, 8gb RAM, 120gb SSD, LED SXGA+, integrated webcam, invisible touchpad, modded battery etc.)
X61s (L7500 led SXGA+ w. touchscreen, L7700),
X61(T7300, T7300 w. pinmod, T8300)
X1 Carbon, W510, T43p, Nokia booklet 3G etc.

Lot's of people have used an mSATA card in their mini-pci slots.

What machine were you trying to accomplish this on? I think it only works on the machines with an i series CPU.

I was thinking to use it on my x61s to have a secondary hard drive
