Ughhh my next thinkpad will have to be a used thinkpad

Looking at the newer thinkpads Im dissapointed at the lack of the third mouse button (the one right under the trackpoint). I also recently got ThinkpadX230 and the hinges are loose just after 9 months of use.
The only reason I've been buying thinkpads was because of the complete trackpoint experiance which includes that 3 mouse buttons below it. Loosing one of them pretty much doesn't give me any more incentive to buy anything new.
Im looking into buying a T60p and hopefully keep it working for years to come.

The T60p is a good choice, it's a pretty solid Thinkpad. Although the T500/W500 would also suit you if you don't mind the widescreen form factor.

For now, Windows 7 and 8 run beautifully on the T60p and web content runs just fine, so you'll be fine with it.

The T60 is nice, but unfortunately limited to 3GB RAM.
If you can live with that, fine.
If not, consider a Frankenpad, one of the wilder ones being this: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=108270

After tweaking Windows 7 it only uses 465mb of RAM. So it's not that bad and Im probably gonna stay with XP due to privacy concerns which uses even less than that.
This is what I need:
- traditional non-apple keyboard
- enough horsepower to play Netflix better yet HQ movies
- IPS screen
- strong hinges
- Windows XP
