just did the no1802 hack, but can't install drivers

#1 Post by dyne » Tue May 17, 2005 4:09 am

I just got an 802.11g router, and was able to get my brother to swap his 2200BG card from his dell for my IBM 2100B card. I did the no1802 hack no problem, but when I get into windows I'm unable to install drivers for the 2200BG card

I've tried the drivers from dell, ibm, and the generic intel ones, but none of them work. Whenever windows goes to check the driver I pointed it to, it instantly returns a message saying no compatible drivers were found. The card also only shows up as "network controller"

anybody know what the problem is? the 2200BG card works fine in the dell
