OneLink Pro Dock: will it work with non-ThinkPad PC?

I'm considering a
ThinkPad OneLink Pro Dock. Will it work with non-ThinkPad computer, such as
Microsoft Surface Pro 2?

One link dock uses proprietary dock connector. If u need generic dock get a USB 3.0 dock

Yeah... unfortunately that OneLink Pro Dock uses a funky connector, not USB or anything standard. But there's other devices that extend the use of multiple USB ports externally... and there's USB to DVI display out devices too, although I don't recommend their use. Might be alright with a Surface Pro 2.
