Hello,
I have A30 with half dead battery and I consider to open it and replace cells. Is it possible to replace original cells rated at 733mAh with say 2000mAh ? Would it be possible to chagre them with original AC adapter ?
thanx

LiON batteries can explode when exposed to air & water. Save yourself a trip to the hospital and/or Darwin Award listing and just buy a new battery.

I think what people mean is that LiIon is a VERY unstable type of component. Its only the fact that there are microchips managing their voltage etc that allows them to be usable. The reality of the downside isn't a dead battery or unworking unit, its fire and or explosion. So if you want to save $30-50 bucks in life, this is not the place to do it.
