IBM Thinkpad R52

High,i found this lap top in a good price and condition,I just want it for home use (internet) and a word-excel. Do you think that can be still do these. Its very old. Of course i wil put 2 gb ram and ssd.

Yes. Standard web use and office won't be a problem for a good spec R52. Youtube videos will also be fine, as long as you stick to 480p or maybe even 720p, depending on hardware.

Thanks for the answer,what ssd can i put on it ? Any normal for thinkpads ? I just need the minimum,maybe 40gb or less.

Unless you implement the SATA mod, it is not worth it to use an SSD, since most PATA SSDs are junk. Using an msata SSD in SATA-PATA caddy won't be very fast either. A good 7200rpm HDD would be more cost efficient and should be fast enough.
