Hello. I recently got an old IBM Thinkpad from a buddy of mine, who got it in at a garage sale. The charger that came with it doesn't fit my Thinkpad, so I have no power. It supposedly works, but I have no way to tell. I tries to figure out what model I have, so I can purchase a replacement charger. I looked on the back, where the numbers are and this is what I've got:

Type: 2625 - 4R9 S/N 78 - BVDB3 96/10

I tried usin each set of numbers when looking for the model number, but none of them register as a Thinkpad model. I'm hoping that maybe you guys can help me out.

Somewhat usefull information: It has a sticker on the back that reads, "Designed for Microsoft windows 95". It also has a red knobin the middle of the keyboard, instead of a touch pad. The screen is very small, aprox.
8 1/4(W) x 6 1/4(H). It doesn't have any USB hookups, but it does have 2 expansion slots.
Thanks a bunch!
Rob

Does your thinkpad look like this?

If it does you have a thinkpad 365X model 2625-4R9

You can find IBM's page for this here:

The CPU in the 365X/XD varied between the Pentium 100, 120, 133 and if I'm not mistaken, 150 in some later X models.

The screen came in two sizes on the 365X/XD series, either 10.4" or 11".
