Replace T400 with X61?

I really would like an X220. However, the X61s still does what I need it to do. The X2** series may have more processing power but (for my usage) inferior screens.

For what you describe as similar to office type usage?

Yes. The 4:3 screen is superior IMO if you're doing one thing at a time. I've already decided on the X220 though.

OK thought you mean't colour etc, personally with the X series i don't notice the difference between 16:9 & 4:3 in the same way as on my 1400x1050 T60.
