Access Connections very unresponsive after update to 6.25.65

Computer: Thinkpad T410
OS: Windows 7 Professional, 32-bit
I installed version 6.25.65 of Access Connections using the System Update utility. After the update, the program has become very unresponsive. For example, after right-clicking the "gauge" on the task bar, in order to choose a network to connect, there's a delay of several (10 or more) seconds before anything happens.
Downgrading might be a workaround, but this update includes security fixes so I'd not like to do that.
Has anyone noticed similar problems? I think this should be reported to Lenovo, but what is the best way to do that?

I noticed something similar with my T410 and I tracked it down to the SMS function in Access. Connections - mine has a WWAN card. If I disabled the WWAN card by any means, Access Connections was nice and fast. Re-enabling the card brought all the delays back. This is both with a SIM installed and not. I gave up in the end and went to Windows 10, where it has worked fine since.

Access Connections v6.25.73 is now available for Windows 7 (32/64), which might resolve your issue.

I have a WWAN card as well. I turned it off via the Fn+F5 menu but Access Connections was still slow immediately after that. I'll try again.

I had to disable the WWAN card from the device manager in order for it to stop interfering with Access Connections. Turning the radio off via Fn-F5 wasn't enough.
