You do know that the SK-8845 is very old and not supported by Lenovo?

Having said that, the SK-8845 can use the synaptics subset in any UltraNav driver released by Lenovo. Try forcing the device to use this driver:
http://support.lenovo.com/ca/en/downloads/ds103454

It is possible to get it working under Windows 8 /8.1 with this driver (if you wish to forgo Windows 10):

I got a driver working but the "UltraNav"-tab with the trackpoint specific settings is still missing.
My problem is that my movements with the trackpoint feels too slow for me. I am used to set it to VERY sensitive. This isn't possible without the UltraNav settings.

Or is there a workaround? Maybe someone knows a software which can boost the normal mouse speed which also would help very much.
I searched the whole internet but couldn't find any solution.
Help would be much appreciated.

Edit:
The strange thing is that the trackpoint of my USB Keyboard works perfect if attached to my Thinkpad W500 with Windows 10 installed on it.
I can see my Synaptics Driver v16.2.19.7 and i can see a TouchStyk V1.13 USB device which i then can configure to the speed i want.
But how can i install this same driver on my normal PC? Very confusing ...

Edit2:
FOUND A SOLUTION!!!
Check this site - you can edit the mouse sensitivy curve in the registry:
http://translate.google.pl/translate?sl ... 2Fmouse%2F
Simply download a reg-fiile and execute it! Then restart computer! "Inclination 90.reg" worked fine for me!!

Edit3:
Even better solution for me is using "Multiple_2.reg" and reducing the speed in the normal mouse control panel to 80%!!!
(May help others with the same problem)

Edit4:
Still not god enough - had to fix my values manually. Here this works for me quite good:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse]
"SmoothMouseXCurve"=hex:\
00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\
15,6e,00,00,00,00,00,00,\
00,40,02,00,00,00,00,00,\
39,dc,05,00,00,00,00,00,\
00,00,10,00,00,00,00,00
"SmoothMouseYCurve"=hex:\
00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\
b8,5e,01,00,00,00,00,00,\
cd,4c,15,00,00,00,00,00,\
ff,4c,88,00,00,00,00,00,\
00,00,38,02,00,00,00,00
