Hello friends.

My friend seeks a refurb ThinkPad that has 15.4 screen with a keyboard that has a dedicated numpad. Ideas? The budget is around £200-£250 max, thank you.

PS: I was asked to also mention that it needs to be UK QWERTY, thanks.

Well my friend your only option is a 17" w70x machine if you want a numpad. Always could get a a31 with an ultrabay numpad but i dont think you want a pentium 4 . I do have one but it still is a trusty worker so I wont give that away. If you dont want a numpad, a t61p-t530 is a great range to look at. You can get all of the above machines for around 150-300 USD on ebay.

Also look into Lenovo non-ThinkPad lines, such as Ideapad, Edge and Essentials.
A number of those have glossy screens though.
And avoid any laptops with an AMD CPU, they generally run very hot.
AMD-laptops usually have a model number ending with 5, such as E475.
Intel-laptops usually have a model number ending with 0, such as E470.

The Dell Latitude E6520 and E6530 are both 15.6" machines with number pads, and can be found in that price range usually.

Every Thinkpad with the classic keyboard also has the obscure "integrated-numpad".

If that was the case minuswell just bring a external numpad or better yet, a ibm pc122 ) JK.

But on a serious note, the classic intergrated numpad is a joke.
