is it possible to cut and connect a Wifi antenna cable inside a laptop ?
should i expect them to be co-axial cables or are they something else ?
i have a laptop with a bent antenna connector,
and, i have an old broken laptop with some unused antenna cables, but those cables are too short to fit directly in the first laptop.
cant i cut a part of the end of the cables from the broken laptop to extend the first laptop i want to fix ?
Take a look at our

Re: Wifi antenna cables cut and connect
Those are coax cables and extremely thin.
You'll need to properly insulate the center cable, its insulator, the outer metal (ground) lining and finally the outside of that antenna.
If your machine has 3 wifi cables, try to disconnect the middle cable from the card and connect it instead of the "broken" one.
Not the best option, but doable.

Re: Wifi antenna cables cut and connect
Cutting and splicing the cable may result in a weaker signal, similar to TV antenna cables.
