I did a broad lookup of the T500 2055 series to see if I could find something close to my current configuration.

Every T500 model in the database came up which is what I expected. What I didn't expect to see was sometimes 10, or 15, or even 20 different 2055's all with a different suffix of course, but all with the same configuration, at least 'on paper'.

When all of these descriptions for different MTM's are the same, what is (could be) different about each of these machines?

Thanks. My machine type didn't even make the list. The list ended before the three digit suffix started with letters.

Different localizations will have different type numbers. The U at the end of 2082-8ZU, for example, means United States.
