FYI: LoJack is another name for CompuTrace.

Well in the case my Thinkpad get stolen and someone reinstall the OS I want to do everything to get them.

Also a computer thief could call up and say it was "sold" to them and get CompuTrace removed.

Computrace (and BIOS Supervisor password) can still be removed!
Up until the xx30 series it was quite easy and cheap.
From xx40 onward it's more work and more expensive, but still possible.
If you don't buy a new computer, don't put your family/company secrets on it,
and be careful where you put/leave the laptop, you don't need to waste money on this.
