Undervolting with CHC

I want to test out Centrino Hardware Control (CHC) and try a bit of undervolting. I already have CHC and Prime95 installed. Just for the life of me I can't find a single decent tutorial and I don't want to start playing with the settings until I understand what they do. Can someone point me to a step by step tutorial (ideally with screenshots)?
At first I was against undervolting - thinking it was in line with underclocking - and normally anything to do with changing timmings or doing anything to alter hardware I'm against, but this seems pretty safe and I can't ignore all the postive results you guys are getting.
