I have a Epson C86, and am looking for the best inkjet paper.
I want a very high brightness.
Its for papers, and such for college.
Thanks

For the C86, get Hammermill Color Copy Paper or Hammermill Premium Inkjet paper ($11 and $6 per 500 sheet ream at OfficeDepot). The Color Copy Paper is 28lb with 98 brightness, the Premium Inkjet Paper is 24lbs & 94 brightness. The weight has more of an effect then the brightness. Extra weight always gives paper a nicer quality feel. Your C86, if my memory serves me right, uses Epson's Durabright Ink (pigment) and the thickness of 28lb paper is just right for absorbing that ink and it won't warp or seep through on the other side. 24lb paper is still good though, and it's cheaper.
I use the Premium Inkjet Paper for drafts, web page print outs, and misc uses. I know I could use cheap $2 a ream generic paper but I can't stand that stuff. If I have to do a quick print out I know it will still look really good. The Color Copy Paper which is almost double the price is good for term papers or work that is important to get looking as nice and professional as possible.
I should also point out that I'm a sales tech at OfficeDepot, so if it looks funny that I always say officedepot and never staples or officemax it's just out of habbit. The good thing about my work is I they let me do whatever I want - which usually means when I'm not tied up with customers I'm doing my own little tests and mini-reviews on the printers and laptops.

I don't know how well it will perform in an inkjet, but it IS recommended for inkjets, not just lasers...
Staples Color Laser paper. Between $8 and $9 a ream, 28lbs, 108 bright on the old scale (somewhere around 96 on the new scale, IIRC), and on a good color laser, it gets photo quality - I kid you not.
