Hey everyone.

I just got my 2373-M3U a couple days ago and it got shipped in about a week...even though lenovo gave it 10 days. awesome!..

anyway, while i was messin around with the laptop and exploring all its features, i rememered that it's supposed to have bluetooth on it. so i look around trying to find some bluetooth software installed on the laptop, but i couldn't find any. so i took the liberty of dling it myself, and when it was installed it said it didn't find any bluetooth devices. :? . i even checked the tabook to see if my model really came with bluetooth and it did.

is there anything i can do to make sure i even have bluetooth in here? or am i looking in the wrong places?

thanks
-carnage

Do you have a Bluetooth logo on your LED indicators, both below the screen (between WiFi and <1>) and on the top of the lid next to Power and Sleep?

If so, you have Bluetooth. Try hitting Fn-F5 to turn it on.

Once the device is turned on, it's just like plugging it into your USB port and making the device active. The first time you power it on, Windows will detect it and install the drivers. Then when you go to use the Software Updater, it will pull down the newest version of the Bluetooth software. Worst case, you go to IBM's Thinkpad web page and download the software manually the first time. Once its installed, the updates will be automatically downloaded.

Also, it is very possible that you are using the microsoft drivers which ain't that great. I recommend installing the widcomm drivers and disabling the MS ones. the instructions are a little complex but a google search should bring up quite a few results. Good luck and welcome to the wonderful world of 2373-M3U ownership :)
