Can someone explain what flexview is?
I have a T43 14.1" and I heard that the 15" models have this flexview thing.
Does it improve the quality of the screen? (viewable angle, uniform contrast/color/brightness)

FlexView screens are brighter and offer wider viewing angles. They are a matte screen as opposed the glossy screen you'll see on Sony's with Trubright technology.
From what I understand, flexview makes everything look like sex.

The resolution, 1600x1200, is the max supported resolution of the 15" screen. It will be a flexview display regardless of what resolution you decide to use.

FlexView displays are no longer available in R series (the latest one was R51). There are also disadvantages, it is slower and black background color does not look black from the side view. 15" SXGA+ displays are FlexView as well.

Flexview is available for both SXGA+ (1400x1050) or UXGA, but only on the 15" models. Flexview screens are brighter, has better viewing angles and colors; but it also draws more power (reduced battery life) and has a slow response time, causing some ghosting.
