contrast difference between a21m and T20

Hello,
I have a Thinkpad A21m and I wanted to sell it and get a T20 instead. The A21m I have seem to have a very washed LCD and it seems like the LCD is very low in contrast although still very usable but not to the degree that i'de like. I also have a compaq 1600xl145 500mhz PIII which is a bit older but the the contrast on the LCD is far much better.

I wanted to know if anyone has compared the contrast between the a21m and the t20. basically which one would be your better preference?
