Problems installing access connections 3.81

I am trying to install access connections 3.81. I've used the software installer and the old fashioned way but each time I get the software hilighted in yellow and the message:
"Another driver or application is required. Refer to documentation supplied with installation package"
No documentation that I've found mentions anything about installing other drivers prior to access connections 3.81.
Does anyone know which 'driver or application' is required?

It's probably referring to your wireless 802.1 adapter. You didn't mention which one you have. Regardless, I would make sure you have any previous versions of Access Connections uninstalled. Reboot. Uninstall your wireless 802.1 driver, then install the appropriate wireless 802.1 adapter driver. Next install Access Connections 3.81. The following page has Access Connections 3.81, and links to the appropriate 802.1 wireless adapter driver. See chart on this link to find the correct driver for you card.

Check this page for wireless driver requirements;

[I needed 4.1.102.1095 to load ac3.81 on my t41]

Thanks.
I have the 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter. This didn't come with my computer (T41P 2373-ggg) it's an upgrade which, incidentally, has never worked!.
When I try and uninstall this driver I get the message:
'An installation support file could not be installed. The system cannot find the file specified.'

Can't Install Access Connections v3.81

Good afternoon,
I was experiencing this problem and just resolved it. As was suggested, I uninstalled IBM Access Connections, uninstalled the wireless driver, then reinstalled the wireless driver. What I wanted to note here is that even after doing this, the installer for the individual download of ThinkVantage Access Connections still gave me the "Another driver or application is required. Refer to documentation supplied with installation package" error and would not allow me to install. However, when I tried it again through the ThinkPad Software Installer (v3.14.0508 I believe) it allowed me to install it without a problem.
So, make the changes, then use the main software installer, not the individual one. At least it worked for me!
Best,
Ben
