problem with client security solution

when i open client security solution and click on "Manage logon passwords" an error box comes up and says:
"There was a problem retrieving the user's key Password Manager will now close."
Is there something I need to configure or something in order to allow me to use this. What exactly is the user's key?
I'm using Clicent Security Solution 6.00.0027.00.
