Automatic Reboot on power-on without pressing power button

Hi Folks,
Imagine a thinkpad with battery taken out. If you yank the power supply
off, it will shut off, right?
Now, I would like the thinkpad to automatically boot when I plug in the power. Normally, one needs to hit the power-on button after the power
is supplied.
Does anyone know a way of automatically booting thinkpad on power-on.
I checked BIOS settings and power options/managerment within windows OS without any promising leads.
I am using a T41p with windows xp pro sp1.
Thanks in advance.
