Anyone here Microsoft beta tester? I just got Win Longhorn beta and wish to try it. Do you have any experince with it? Should I install it in virtual machine? If so, which is the best (I have VMware)?

Don't install it. Just wait the release in 2006.
You will get nothing.

Wll I still might try it. If I install Wins in virtual machine won't hurt me in any way. Do you maybe know whih VM is better? Microsoft Virtual PC 2004 or VMware 5?

Do you have a spare hard drive that you could test it with, without even bothering with a VM? Or maybe another PC, and create a dual boot?

If you are going to use VMware (that is what I use), I am up to VMware 5.5. It comes with the most recent VMware Player as well. I have seen Virtual PC, and I like VMware better. ... JD Hurst

I just installed it on my 'spare' 10 GB partition - on my main PC.
It actually ran quite nicely for Beta 1, just as good as XP, on my Athlon XP 2.3 GHz / 512 MB RAM.

Congratulations.
I also decided to give VMware a try. Got a trial and it looks nice, installed XP and it works fine. Now I will install Vista and check it out. Does any of you maybe know if there are any drivers for Ati FireGL v3200 for Vista? Or do I need a catalyst?
