Think theme desktop ... only C: and no e-mail?
Those who have the Think Theme on their TPs ... I'm curious about the utility of this. The calendar is nice. The HD space-remaining widget is nice. But on my TP, only the C: drive is shown (I have P:, U:, and W: volumes as well). And the new e-mail indicator doesn't seem to tie in with Outlook (using the one, only, default Outlook profile).
Anyone been able to configure these to work with other drives, and your e-mail client? TIA.
David

Well, I have used it.
I tried poking around in there for awhile, it appears to be an *.html static background that, when rendered onto the desktop, gets modified by a set of *.dlls; I haven't looked into those, but I imagine that there are variables in there telling it what drive to pay attention to and what tasks to start when, etc. HTH
I will take a closer look at it.

I've used it too, think there is a desktop and a moblile theme. When I downloaded the desktop theme it had the calendar, the mobile one shows the wireless antenna.
Maybe it only recognizes an actual physical drive? No email on mine either, but I have read other posts of people using it with Firefox and thunderbird and it would work but erratically.

I did a search online and found a site in Russia that hosts older themes. I played with them a bit.
My new T came with a version of the ThinkCentre theme, sort of, with calendar, e-mail, hard drive ... the older version didn't have the "C:\" by the hard drive. Not sure why a T43 would not have the "Active Thinkpad" theme.
The Active Thinkpad theme does indeed show either the wireless or the Eth0 connection active - not sure if I like the animated wireless indicator. But it also has a battery indicator which works nice.
The screen saver that came with my T indicates that the hard drive will show status of a secondary hard drive ... so you might right, it might only look at physical drives, and if there're several volumes on drive0, just indicate status of C: . Ah, well, it's small change compared with the other great utilities that come on a T.
