Access Connections v4.01 and Wireless Driver

#1 Post by w0qj » Wed Dec 28, 2005 9:07 pm

Hi,

Wish to know if I need to uninstall/reinstall my wireless driver (Intel B/G Mini-PCI type on my 2373-K5H T42s), before I install my Access Connections v4.01 ?

Previously I've tried to install AC v4.0 as per this forum, with no success...

You need to make sure you have the required wireless driver version. See chart in middle of page in following link to check. There are links in the chart for the drivers.

If you have the appropriate wireless driver, uninstall existing Access Connections, reboot, then install new version of Access Connections. If you still have trouble, uninstall Access Connections, reboot, then uninstall your wireless driver. Now install latest wireless driver, reboot then install Access Connections. Works good for me.
