What makes ConnectUtilitis4 folder in my docs?

#1 Post by krma-thkpds » Tue Jan 03, 2006 7:37 am

Which program generates ConnectUtilitis4 folder in my Documents? The folder contains two files (P2PControl.log and CommunityMgr.log) and another ConnectUtilities4 folder with Recieverd Files subfolder. The folder reapeares even if I delete it though I don't know what triggers this...

Access Connections. Look in the folder C:\Program Files\ThinkPad\ConnectUtilities. There is a file there: CommunityMgr.dll.

Is there a way to prevent it from reappearing?

Uninstall Access Connections?

EDIT: I suppose you could create a .bat file and run it as a Scheduled Task to delete these files and folders as often as you want. Bat files are easy to make.
