Bluetooth Card looking for USB driver?

#1 Post by reltor » Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:13 pm

I have a T42 2373-6ZU with IBM's factory installed bluetooth modem/daughter card. When I FN 5 and click on the Bluetooth radio I get a Windows search for a USB device. I am assuming I am missing a driver, Anyone know which one? I see a couple options concerning bluetooth on the support site.

Thank you much.

Have you flicked the wireless switch on your TP?
I know my Z60M didnt find a BT device until i flicked the switch on the front and then left it for a minute or so while it installed drivers.

I think the flicky switch is new to the Z60. Never seen one on T42, 43.

OP, check your add remove control panel (APPWIZ.CPL) and see if the IBM Bluetooth software is installed. If not, there are 2-3 threads here on how to install and configure it.
