wireless login, how to

#1 Post by kuma » Wed Jan 18, 2006 2:00 pm

Is there anyway that I can set up my wireless account for my school to log in automatically? https://wireless.netaccess.umn.edu/cgi- ... kpads.com/
is the website, I have to enter my username and password into the web page before I can get on the internet. It doesn't say there is any encryption, when I search for the wireless router. Anything I can do in my wireless connection set up?
Thanks.

If you have the fingerprint reader, I believe you can do it with that.

The following options I have not tried, but I see in Firefox, if you go to: Tools > Options... > Privacy > Passwords, there is a choice for "Firefox can remember login information for web pages so that you do not need to re-enter your login details every time you visit." In Opera if you go to: Tools > Preferences... > Wand, there is a choice to "Fill in user names and passwords with a click on the wand button." IE may have these features, I don't know. For IE, you'll have to look yourself.

IE does allow you to save your password but you still have to enter the user name and then tab through the password field for it to fill.
