Hard drive sectors

#1 Post by Vypr » Sat Mar 04, 2006 11:33 am

I recently purchased a new ThinkPad, and on the hard drive, I noticed that Lenovo had moved some files to the end of the hard drive. I assume this was done for performance reasons. My question is are there any tools that will let me do the same for my other computers?

I don't really have an answer for you, but I would like to let you know that you might want to put a warning in your subject line to let other users know that there is an image attached. Otherwise, it might be deleted, as it is against forum policy to include images without a warning.

Several users are still having to use dial-up...including through a cell phone which can be even slower.

EDIT: Never mind, a mod changed it to a link.

Anyone know if something like PartitionMagic can do that? I don't want to buy it if it cannot do it.
