Mfg part vs. FRU part

I looked up the parts for my R40, because I wanted to know what keyboard I was using. It came up with:
Is it normal for the Mfg part and FRU part to be different? Do they refer to different parts, or are they the same physical part with a different ID (so they can track it differently, presumably)?
I can't seem to find any info on the Mfg part -- is it because it's too old (circa Sep '03)?
I found out that the second number (FRU part) is a Chicony keyboard, but I can't find any information about the first number (Mfg part). Since I have never replaced the keyboard, I assume that I am still using the Mfg part.Mfg part #: 08K4913
FRU part #: 08K4757
Description: KEYBOARD FRU
Serviceable? YES
