DI-524 (ver D) and wireless 2200BG connection issues?
Not being able to find any documentation on D-Link or IBM/Lenovo's support sites, I was hoping to find some advice here.
I have a 2200BG (9.0.2.31) on my X32 and also a DI-542 (v4.00) and I'm experiencing intermittent disconnections (on the order of once every few or more hours). I've checked that the router is still up. Heck, even the card is still fine because right away, it jumps and finds a secondary profile in my list of APs (neighbor's). But when I try to immediately reconnect to my DI-542, it won't connect...it's not until I wait at least a minute, before I can reconnect to it.
I never had any connection problems with a WRT54G that I used to have (until it fried)
Does anyone have the Hardware D, Firmware v4.00 DI-524?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to attack this?
PS. My Access Connections is 3.71
PPS. My roommates wireless connections (one's a Dell 1370, another is some PCI adapter for a desktop, are all solid through my disconnections)
PPPS. I read the release notes for the latest Access Connections and 2200BG firmware, but neither mentioned any change remotely close to this problem...as far as I could tell, so I was hesitant to upgrade.

sorry, my mistake; I have revision C of the DI-524. I did try firmware 3.2 and had all sorts of trouble with my T60, so I went back to 3.02 and my problems were solved.
my advice would be to pick up a Belkin Pre-N router. I have set up several and found them to be extremely reliable.

Wiz posted the following link in the T4x forum. It seems like it might relate to your problem.
