...And how can you tell it's the "bad" RAM that is causing slow downs, freezes at start up and constant reboots?

I just upgraded to 2 1GB Elpida RAM (both are new original IBM FRU#ed parts) and so far I had to recover the hard drive about 2 weeks after the RAM upgrade and now I'm replacing the entire hard drive...someone mentioned I couldv'e been the new RAM that was causing problems...but my Control Panel; System is reading my RAM correct.

I just got 2gB from brentpresely too

I've had a couple of weird freezes. I asumed they were related to my voltage tweaking in CHC but i'm not sure right now.

I'm running prime 95, it's a good memory testing, but, its not producing any errors, so I'm not sure if its the ram yet.

Actually.. I think I solved my problem..

I was silly and thought i'd turn off virtual memory, I think that screwed up windows a tad

It's essentially corruption that does it.

I'd run memtest if you have any doubts on it.
