My Blue button is alive!

Hi everyone,

Some weeks ago, willing to install Linux on my Thinkpad G41 and manage partitions, I accidentally erased Rescue & Recovery -among some other important things of course... For some hours I felt somewhat helpless since (as far as I know) there's not an official and well equipped service in the town I live plus it was already late in the afternoon and I could found no one to ask for help... The next morning the retailer I bought my computer from took care and about a week later my Thinkpad was ready but I felt sad when the technician informed me that the blue button and R & R had died... and in case I had to reinstall I wouldn't be able to do so without going back through the same process... I bought Norton Ghost almost immediately but still I felt I had a Thinkpad without one of its most powerful tools in case of emergency... A few days ago I went DSL (I was on dial-up) and I gave it a try to find and download R & R... After only a few minutes of online search I discovered that the latest version of this wonderful program was available to download from IBM/Lenovo. It took some hours to download and install while thinking of what the technician had told me... But I experienced a smooth installation and the program was up and running again although (I don't know why) I couldn't start it by pressing the blue button. Anyways, I made my backup on CDs and I felt more than happy I was protected again. A few hours ago, I found out that my blue button works again... What a pleasant surprise! Now I hope it's OK again with my Thinkpad... What do you think?

P.S.: I miss my IBM screensaver, the blue world map with the time zones and the theme I had before the accident... Any help? Thanks in advance...
