I wanted to get the SLim HS (SATA adapter) and the 8 cells battery for my X60.

An 8 cells battery costs about 200-250 euros most of the time, at least that's the prices I saw on the web.
I looked for FRU for the battery and found one manufactured by Sanyo: 200 euros and one made by Sony 100 euros.

Odd isn't it ?

I bought both (Sony battery and adapter) this weekend but price for adapter was quote. Got an email monday morning with paiment details. Did it immediately (bank transfer).

I was surpruse to get an email tuesday morning stating everything was ok and shipped. Thursday going bak from work, everything was waiting for me. :D

Now this is service IMO. And at a very nice price too BTW.

I love IBM/LENOVO 8)

I buy two second hand T41 (T41 and T41p). They both have some scrachs on the cover and *used* keyboards. When I see the FRU prices, I buy all chassis parts : lcd cover, keybord bezel and key board. 9 cells battery as FRU costs 86 € as FRU but 180 € as accessory. So, I also order two ! :D
Order on monday, bank transfert just after the mail, all parts were at home on friday with UPS. Nice job for IBM/Lenovo Belgium.

Some FRU don't worth : hdd, cpu and memory. LCD and mainbord issue are so high priced (+700 € each), it's cheaper to buy an other second hand Thinkpad.
