Hi,
I just got a new HD for my 240X(80GB/5400) and plan to ghost the image from my laptop to the new HD.
BUT, I need to know how to format the new HD. I have ghosted images before on formated HD's.
I have not been able to find the secret code for formating new
HD's on the 240X. HELP, Mike.

Well after some research I did the following. I used a 1.1 hard disk enclosure connected to my USB port. Then Right clicked "My Computer" icon- I have XPPro.. Now going to "Computer Management" double click "Disk Management" go to disk format follow the prompts to format the new HD. The80GB 5400RPM format took almost 45mins.
Next, I used NortonGhost 2003 to copy the image onto the new drive.that tookalmost 7 hrs! but the system is up and running.
I now have XP Pro, 80GB's ,BuffaloWiFi Card(Antenna inside screen bezel), DVDShink3.2,DVD Decrypter(for movies on the HD),Nero,Irfran,Avast. Love it.
