recovery cd generates 'cdr101: not ready reading drive x'

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Fri Jul 07, 2006 9:16 pm

im using t23 discs to restore w2k on a 600e. it has been previously tested and does in fact work on the 600e. when i boot from the disc, it displays that a recovery cd is in the drive, but that screen soon disappears and am left with the cdr101: not ready reading drive x error. i've had no luck with that topic searching the forums on here or google- does anyone know if theres a setting i need to adjust?

to the best of my knowledge, it isnt actually saying that the drive letter is X, so thats not the issue..
