Sierra WWAN cards?

I was talking to a vendor about getting a wireless Broadband card to use in my 600X and Transnote. The seller says that the cards are not mini-PCI, but rather mini-PCIe. Is this true of both the X60 and T60 models? If so, is there an adapter to let these work in my mini-PCI slots?

The sierra wireless ones are all mini-pcie cards.

I'm not aware of any adaptor to allow a mini-PCIe card to fit a mini-PCI socket Emanuel.

PCMCIA WWAN cards are probably your best bet.

I've already got one of those - I was looking for free up the single pc card slots on some of my laptops, like my Transnote.
