Clearing password off of hard drive

I've got a 4gB hard drive here that I swiped out of a 560z of mine, however, its password protected.
I'm guessing that because its password protected, my USB enclosure doesn't seem to be able to read its partitions/data
The usb enclosure works fine for my 40gB laptop hard drives I have, so I know that isn't the problem.
I'd very much like to get it recognized so I can install the windows setup files to it so I don't have to do the whole floppy drive / network mess I normally have to with my CD-Drive-less 560z
