TVT SMBus and SMI2 folders

can anybody tell me what these folders TVT SMBus and SMI2 are?
Have they anything to to with RR?

These folders contain device drivers that are used by several Lenovo/ThinkVantage software products, including RnR (Rescue and Recovery) and CSS (Client Security Solution).
